It could be a LOT worse.
The lights could be flashing and you could be getting a little "pressed ham" while you wait for the urchins, guttersnipes and ankle-biters to disperse.
Yeah, well, you could get a nice big grapefruit and shove it into the tailpipe, that would make you feel better! ....then just pass it on the street!
