Bee-autiful

Would it surprise anyone if I said I wanted this honey shampoo? I do-- badly. It would match my runny honey bodywash so perfectly! And combined with my chocolate shampoo...oh my God!

I Dream of Jeannie's Barbie

Check out this I Dream of Jeannie Barbie doll. I kind of really really want this. Jeannie is still THE BEST television show to watch on a sick day. The only thing that makes it better is if it's followed by an episode of Bewitched (with the first Darrin, of course). When I was little I liked to think of things I'd do if I could blink and make them happen. It usually involved not doing homework. Today I would use those powers a little differently. Here's a few things I'd be sure to do:

  • Turn slow drivers into potted plants alongside the road.
  • Blink a magic spell over my house so that it was perfectly clean and could never get dirty again.
  • Make it so that my pets never pooped or peed.
  • Walk around in an invisible bubble in the summer, complete with A/C, so that no bugs could bother me.
  • Make pizza a fat-free food.
  • Blink some deodorant onto Matthew McConaughey.

OK, this may be the greatest website in this history of online commerce. I'll take 1 of everything please!

I feel like I could find a use for these legwarmers. Wishlist!

Very seriously, I may not be able to live the rest of my life unless I someday own one of these masks.

I cannot stop looking at this website...

The Best "Little Black Dress"

I struggle with the proverbial "little black dress." While it is an essential element to any woman's wardrobe, finding the right one for you is a challenge. It's kind of like buying jeans. There are too many styles, too many brands, etc. etc. etc. I finally found one that I really like (on a model at least) but it's too expensive. So I'm going to add this to my wishlist, which means that I'll never buy it but enjoy the idea that someday I might, because there's always tomorrow.

Wishlist

In my mind I have a wishlist. This list includes everything from a specific orange pen that I am in search of to luxury items like this Royal Doulton figurine. This is "Sophie," part of the "Pretty Ladies" collection.

My paternal grandmother was a collector of these figurines, so I've been hooked since I was a little girl. I have three of the pieces from her collection, and I cherish them. While web surfing one day I found Sophie. My grandmother would have definitely loved her. If I lived during the days of silk dresses and lace petticoats, I would want a dress just like this. And I would want Scarlett O'Hara as my best friend. Come to think of it though, Scarlett wouldn't be a very good friend. She'd probably steal my dress!
